There is nothing like new motherhood to make you question your abilities and doubt your sanity. Locking yourself in the house with a baby who is just as confused as you are doesn’t help. Get out there and meet some fellow moms, and you’ll see that you’re not alone. Support see that you’re not alone. Support groups can provide a much needed social outlet, as well as pals who can ease your worries and potential lifelong friendships for you and baby. To find a mothers’ group in your area, contact local baby stores, recreation departments, pediatricians’ offices if you can’t find a group , form it yourself: Post a sign on a neighborhood community board or strike up conversations with moms in your neighborhood.

Lilac Spring Line is Here!!!!!
Wearable from beginning to end and beyond of your pregnancy. Get ready to feel more beautiful than you expected with Lilacs new spring line.
Tip: to hide the pregnancy back bumps be sure to pucker the material to your body's desire. Wallah! They're gone!
The Avery top is the perfect shirt for those who want a fabulous look but don't want the fitted look. Gathers under the bust and at the small of the back give shape to body without hugging it and allow for the sweep of the shirt to fall against your body naturally.
The Bella top is the answer to your prayers. Sexy neckline is adjustable so you can show as much or as little of your cleavage, and the wrap allows you to accentuate and hide your belly as you please.
The Brynley top beautifully sculpts the belly and features the natural
curve with the moon-shaped single-side ruching. The adjustable
neckline makes this top ideal for nursing...and showing off your extra
cleavage if you want it to!The Kalli top perfectly draws the eye inward with the bursting star effect and gives every pregnant body an ultra slimming effect.

What not to feed baby..
Honey: Risk botulism in infants
Cow’s Milk: Not digestible
Wheat(before 6 months) Possible allergen
Peanut Butter, Tree Nuts, Citrus, Shellfish, Egg Whites (before 1-3 years) Possible allergen
Popcorn, Raw Carrots, String Cheese, Whole Grapes, Lollipops, Raisins, Marshmallows: Choking Hazards
If you are on the go: Stash non perishables in your diaper bag: jars of baby food, snacks such as biter biscuits or crackers, and ready- to –pour formula.
If your baby is a fussy eater: Don’t worry if she goes gaga for cottage cheese day after day, but turns her nose at the other foods you offer. Nutritionists say you may have to introduce a new food as many as ten to twelve times before child will try it.

Take a Moment
Sure you’re tired; sure you’ve got other things on your mind. But it’s a good thing to take a moment each day for you and your partner to remember what brought you here in the first place. Try to have one conversation a day where no one uses the word “baby,” diapers,” money,” or housework.” Skip the dishes once in a while, crawl into bed early and remember what it’s like to hug and kiss each other. The creation of a child is a terrific bond between two people, and keeping the connection will make family life even better.

The Baby Experience
Having a baby is like no other human experience. Maybe that explains why babies can seem so alien at first. Everybody’s cooing, “Congratulations!” while you’re walking around in a sleepless daze wondering, “Now What?” A baby Changes everything your schedule, your priorities, the way you think about yourself, the way you think about the world. And if you’re like most parents, you have more experience programming your cell phone then deciphering an infant’s cries. Even though caring for a baby may feel instinctive at certain moments, you don’t automatically become an expert just because you are somebody’s mom! The job takes time and practice. You are about to have more fun than a grownup person ought to! There’s nothing like having a baby to bring out the joy and sheer sense of life.

Tip for telling the workplace your Expecting….
Okay so suddenly you’re sleeping on the job, forgetting appointments, and spending an excessive amount of time in the restroom. You’ll have to break the news to your coworkers and boss eventually, but when’s the right time? Most likely after the shaky first trimester and once you have had a chance to figure out what you are going to do. Think about how long you intend to be out of the office and whether you want to return to a full or part-time schedule. Know your rights- meet with your human resources department to learn about your company’s maternity leave policies and encourage your partner to check their workplace family leave benefits as well.

Morning Sickness???
We carry a product called Preggie Pops:
- The sucker or lollipop format works well in labor to help prevent dry mouth.
- Seven interesting flavors like peppermint, sour tangerine and ginger.
- Come in a variety of formats so you can select your favorite: suckers or drops.
- They make a nice baby shower gift or gift to a new mom-to-be.
Morning sickness is something that plagues many women during pregnancy. It can happen at any time of the day or even last all day long. For centuries women have been seeking a remedy to cure morning sickness. Many of the remedies that women found helpful were hard to find in a readily available form.
The flavored suckers are meant to be used for just this purpose. The flavors are all designed to help alleviate nausea and vomiting in pregnancy and in cases of motion sickness, which can occur more frequently when you are pregnant. They are designed to work by the flavoring, but also have the added benefit of helping you if you suffer from dry mouth or over active saliva glands .

Get a Spring Routine Started
Why routines?
Routines provide structure and help kids feel safe. Following a routine helps kids to develop self-control, to learn to problem-solve, and to develop other important skills. Routines allow you to control your time (instead of your time controlling you).
Divide your day into segments when you’re planning your routine.
“Zero in on the family routines that are most
important.
Agree about who is responsible for
which which tasks. Create a chart or checklist
to remind everyone. Tweak as necessary. Your
routine will soon become second-nature.”
